TIF-Things That Make You Go Hmmmmm

Ok, so on page 17 of the FT today, I  saw something very telling. Tiffany placed an advert with no image, just plain text. If that isn’t a comment on the state of the Luxury market i don’t know what is. They mention the Tiffany Blue Box as a selling tool, and then invite you to GO  CHECK IT OUT ONLINE!! Oh sure,  ”wanna see this hot diamond? check out our website??”. Um–excuse me, but even TIF is cutting corners on advertising? Geeeez!  To quote a line from that iconic film “Wall Street”: “Even the rich are bitching!” . . . so much for redistributing wealth . . .  -Talented
